Sponsored by the WDA’s Wildlife Veterinary Section and led by Heather W. Barron and Sherri Cox, the primary purpose of this workshop is to provide an understanding of the principles of medical and rehabilitative care for native North American wildlife.
The course will include details on the common syndromes with which wildlife patients present to a clinic, the approach to triage, emergency treatment and monitoring of the wildlife patient, the most notable infectious and non-infectious diseases of wildlife, and the public health and legal implications of treating wildlife.
In-person and virtual options will be available with six hours of CE available.
This workshop is open to anyone and conference attendance is not required.
