The WDA and attendees acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land where we are holding this meeting, the Council of Three Fires (Ojibwa, Ottawa, and Potawatomi), as well as the Miami, Peoria, Ho-Chunk, Menominee, Sauk, and Meskwaki peoples, and pay respect to their elders, past and present. We acknowledge and respect the ongoing care that they and other Indigenous peoples give to the lands, water, skies, and animals.
